How to Make Reservations Without Japanese

  1. Tableall — English-language reservation platform for Japan restaurants
  2. Yelp Japan / Google Maps — some Tokyo restaurants have online booking
  3. Hotel concierge — if your accommodation offers it, they can call and book
  4. Walk in and ask — “Yoyaku wa irimasu ka?” (予約はいりますか?) = “Do I need a reservation?”
